The air is crisp and misty, the wind rustles the leaves on the trees. The world is alive with colour reds, oranges yellows. Jumpers and cosy socks adorn our bodies as we make hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream and curl up in the sofa with a good book watching the rain against the windowpanes. I will always love Autumn here are a few pictures I took on a misty autumn morning this week (19th October)
Speak Soon x
Happy Saturday 🙂 Today I went to the local farm 5minutes from my house to pick up my pumpkin 🙂 this has fast become an Autumn tradition and I am loving it. Hill farm is a family run business and it’s where I go to get my strawberries and pumpkins every year. This time around we went with my best friend and her partner and children it was so fun to watch the children’s faces light up as we followed the trail to the huge pumpkin patch 🙂 It is a typical Autumn day today (21st October) windy overcast and raining (lovely in my opinion) here are a few snapshots of our pumpkin picking adventure
There will be a separate post this week all about me carving my pumpkin I haven’t fully decided what design I’m going to do this year!

Wednesday 26th July
We got the 9:07train to London then went over to st pancreas station where we checked in and waited to board the Eurostar 🙂 this photo is us on the Eurostar ready to start our journey to France!! The journey was super quick and the Eurostar is so nice the facilities are great and it was a super smooth journey 🙂 we stopped at Lille and headed to Lille Europe train station to catch our connecting train…when we got to the station however there were police and army everywhere yelling in French to get back from the area we asked someone what was going on and apparently there was a suspect package in the station that they suspected was bomb! Thankfully it was all dealt with and the station was reopened 10minites before our train was due to depart!! This was my first time on a double decker train so Darren booked us first class tickets on the upper deck it was so much fun!!! We arrived in Disneyland train station at 4:30 and headed into Disney village where we got a McDonald’s then headed to the bus station to catch the shuttle bus to our hotel 🙂 the hotel was super nice and only a 10minute journey to Disneyland we had a swim in the pool and a drink at the bar then headed to bed to rest up for our first day at Disney!!! Xx

We had breakfast at the hotel then caught the 11am bus to Disneyland when we arrived we collected our tickets and headed into the main park…I was stunned into silence seeing the Disney palace and just the shere size and all the sights and smells I had no words!! We walked around alot seeing where everything was and exploring fun little places such as Aladdin’s cave of wonders and Alice’s curious labyrinth which made me a very happy girl! The first ‘ride’ we went on was it’s a small world because have you really been to Disney if you didn’t go on it’s a small world? I really enjoyed it! Then we went on pirates of the carabean which had only opened up on the Monday it was SUCH an amazing ride!! We then watched the parade which was fascinating and headed for some food. We decided to go back to the hotel for a shower and a cup of tea then headed back to the park for 10pm to watch the fireworks display and….I cried ! It was just so magical and being there in that moment with my husband who had planned the suprise trip just made me feel incredibly thankful for all that I’ve got and for being there in that moment!! We got back to the hotel at 12:15!!! Zzzzzzz

Then we went on the Armageddon experience it was awesome and so clever I really enjoyed it!! Then we decided hey let’s go on crush’s coaster it’s a kids ride sure but it sounds fun……..well my god it was the fastest scariest roller coaster I’ve ever been on!! (I am a wimp!!) But it was so much fun my legs were like jelly afterwards!!! We then went to watch the stunt show and just WOW the stunts were amazing I really enjoyed this!!!
Saturday 30th July

Then we got annual passes so we can go back as there was SO much we didn’t do!! So my week 27th March-2nd April
Work. Work has been a little busy, i had training on Thursday, paperwork to complete through my role as SENCO plussss it’s nearly Easter break which i am SO ready for! We’ve also been getting ready for our Easter party which I’ll be on the last day of term so it’s all go!
My current read this week is How to build a girl by Caitlin Moran! It is super hilarious i have to stop reading because I’m crying through laughter!!
Films I watched this week are
Penelope:Such a way fuzzy feel good film starring an incredibly young James McAvoy 🙂 (available on Netflix)
Split: I promise I haven’t been obsessing over James McAvoy this week…Ok maybe i have! Split was incredible!! McAvoy did an amazing job in this role!
Interview with a serial killer: This had me shook! There is no non bad way to say this but I’m fascinated by serial killers not that i want to replicate them I’m not fascinated as a fan what i mean is I’m fascinated because i simply cannot fathom what goes through their mind like how they can take another person’s life and then do it multiple times and ways like what?!? This was disturbing but good. (Available on Netflix)
Stranger things: As always late to the band wagon but boy am I glad i jumped aboard!!! Countdown to October is officially on!! I just hope series 2 is as good!!
So it was my friends daughter’s 2nd birthday so we went to her teddy bears picnic themed party it was so adorable!!
Then i went to see my grandparents as it’s their 50th wedding anniversary 🙂

It was such a gorgeous place!! We saw the cathedral, walked round York castle museum (our hotel was directly opposite the castle) we stayed at the Hilton (V posh!!) Brought the most AMAZING fudge!! Had an amazing meal (I was SO stuffed afterwards) then on the Sunday we spent 4&1/2 hours at the train museum it was one of the Best places I have been!! It was truly fascinating there was so much to see and do it was amazing!! Then on our way home we travelled first class (again V posh) the first and probably last time I’ll ever get to travel first class on a train!! Here’s a few pictures from the weekend 🙂
