Blogmas Day 20 Could you be on the naughty list this year?

So firstly thank you for your support over my first blogmas journey I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the posts as much as I did writing them πŸ™‚

Secondly I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and a wonderful new year I won’t be online from 22nd Decmber-2nd January πŸ™‚ xxxxxx

Could I be on the naughty list?

I try. I try to be good. I try to be the best I can. I try not to whine and moan about all the things I don’t have. I try not to judge others or situations. I try to be a good citizen, do my bit help out. I try to look after this beautiful planet we call home, recycling, using less energy, picking up litter. I try to stay positive build people up instead of knocking them down. I try to be honest not even little white lies. I try to be friendly approachable and helpful, I try to do good everyday. I try to be more in the moment, spend time with my loved ones, make some memories ask them how they are doing. I try. I try. So I’d like to think that in doing that I’m not on the naughty list…but is anyone ever completely a saint?

Blogmas Day 19 Favourite Childhood memories

Christmas has always and will always be the most magical time for me I just love it all my family together, eating too much probably drinking too much too just having a laugh and spending time together πŸ™‚

Thankfully my parents used to record me and my brother opening our Christmas presents so I have some gems for you from my childhood sadly not the actual video clips but certainly things that will make you laugh πŸ™‚

πŸŽ„Not a funny memory but…every Christmas me and my brother would wake up early and make sure the other one was awake then we’d go into my mum and dad’s room to wake them dad would always say “it’s too early go back to bed” so we would…5 minutes later he would come into our rooms saying “why aren’t you two awake yet santa might’ve been!”

πŸŽ„ Also me and my brother would have to wait at the top of the stairs with mum whilst dad went and checked that santa had infact been…then we were allowed to go and see what santa had brought us!

πŸŽ„ One year I’d ask for a typewriter and a computer(an old school leappad type computer not a real computer) que tiny Natalie opening the typewriter “oh it’s a computer” mum&dad “no it’s a typewriter” que tiny Natalie opening the computer “oh it’s a typewriter” mum&dad “no that’s the computer”

πŸŽ„One year no matter what present I opened my response was “oh that’s just what I wanted”

πŸŽ„We used to have a coal fire in our house, my dad made me aware that he’d had to put the fire out so santa could come down the chimney…I look dead at the camera put my hands on my hips and say “well how are we supposed to keep ourselves warm?” πŸ˜‚

πŸŽ„My brother opened up a present which was a tamigotchi (oh yeah!!) And out dropped a real life spider haha!! My mum pops up “that’s not a pet you can’t keep that” as my brother and me are running away from this spider!

πŸŽ„The best memory ever…so me and my brother used to open our presents in size order…under the impression that the bigger presents were probably the more expensive presents lol…so one year my brother had left this huge present until last I’d opened all of mine and so sit and watch him open his…it was one of those large felt drawings you could colour parents had brought him a spice girls one because having a big sister meant he had to listen to spice girls and as you do sing along so my parents assumed hed like it “oooooo what is it? It’s a…spice girls? Spice girls? Spice girls picture?” *Throws it down* His little face was so funny!!

I could go on for ages with memories but these ones are my absolute favorites so I’ll stop here!!! I hope you have fond memories at this time of year xxx

Blogmas Day 17 surviving boxing day salesΒ

Sales SALES S.A.L.E.S

Ok….it’s anti social I know but actually the best time to get sale items are either Christmas eve or Christmas day online!!! That’s when I do most of my sales shopping. However if your going to brave the shops here are my tips…

πŸ’šMake a list. Make a list of the items you really want, like cannot live without, didn’t receive from Santa kind of things and STICK to the list!!

πŸ’šWould you buy it full price? Now I’m a sucker for the sales sticker I really am however I always look at the item and think two things…would I buy this full price? Will it go with other items in my wardrobe? If I answer yes then I buy it!

πŸ’šeBay. So many people put their unwanted gifts on eBay the next day it’s brutal really but it gives you chance to snag some bargains!

πŸ’šBuy timeless pieces and out of season pieces. Ok so if you don’t follow current trends like me…then buying out of season pieces is ideal because they are cheaper and will keep! Also by buying timeless pieces (blazers, white shirts, boot cut jeans) you will create a solid base for your wardrobe

So there are a few of my tips….can’t give them all away now can I!!! πŸ˜‰ Happy shopping x

Blogmas Day 16 Christmas Market

On the 3rd of December I got to visit Winter Wonderland in London πŸ™‚ it was absolutely amazing!! I was in awe I walked around with my mouth literally dropped open for a good half hour!! Blogmas Day 15 Christmas make up looks πŸ’„

For real I’m a make up novice I honestly haven’t got a clue what I’m doing, I don’t wear make up alot only if I’m going out for a night out with the girls or to a pub for a gig other than that the most make up I wear is lipbalm!!! However here are my 3 Christmas looks for you all πŸ™‚

My bare face no make up.

So I did the same base, contour, highlight and brow look for each look using the following products

Hoola bronzer

Make up revolution highlight blush and bronze pallet

Benefit high beam highlighter

Benefit highbrow in shade 5

Benefit theyre real mascara

Make up revolution mascara

Make up revolution foundation in shade 7

Make up revolution translucent powder

Benefit pore professional

Christmas eve look

My favourite look. I used my technique matte eyeshadow pallet in neutral I then create a smokey eye look using the brown shades, added a flick of eyeliner and finished off the look with my seventeen lipstick.

Christmas Day

I used my brights technique pallet for this look putting the bright green under my lower lashes. I added some sparkly green jewels to the inner corners of my eye and used Mac ruby woo for my lips.

Boxing day

Very quick look for boxing day. I used my no7eyeshadow pallet to add some sparkle to my lids. I then used my natural collection lipstick and fleur dear force gloss to create a simple natural looking look.

Which one was your favourite?

Blogmas Day 12 Christmas Work Do outfit ideas

Ive created three different looks to hopefully cover the different types of work do your workplace might have!!

Look one

This is what I’d wear if I were going for a nice meal and drinks afterwards. The printed trousers dress the outfit up but paired with the basics it suits restaurant and club dress codes without feeling over or under dressed.

Trousers charity shop

Top eBay

Shoes gift

Look two

Fancy evening do! Some places do massive work do’s in hotels and swanky function rooms, this outfit would be suited to those type of work parties, not too flashy but fancy enough I say!

Skirt charity shop

Top eBay shoes gifted

Look three

Casual day time work party. Some places do a nice Christmas dinner in the afternoon then go bowling or to play pool etc this outfit I feel would suit that kind of party the layers keep you comfortable and create a different dimension to an otherwise plain outfit πŸ™‚

Pink top primark

Green shirt f&f

Jacket boohoo

Blogmas Day 11 A look at your Christmas dayΒ

Hey lovelies. So my Christmas day is different depending on where I am so I’ll tell you the two ways my Christmas goes….

If I’m at home.

If I’m in Peterborough for Christmas i will wake up at like 6:30….maybe 7am and insist that my husband wakes up! I am like a child Christmas morning i never ever lay in!!! We will open our presents in our living room with a cup of tea and Christmas tv on in the background πŸ™‚ then we have some breakfast get dressed up and go to my parents house. At my parents we will then exchange gifts with them and my brother wait for them to get ready and then go to my grandparents again there are gifts to open and share my cousins and aunt&uncle may be there or may come over in the afternoon. The men then go to the pub me and grandma have a chat whilst my mum visits my great grandparents grave and then at around 1ish we sit down to a HUGE meal!! We usually don’t get finished eating and talking until 3 then the girls wash and dry up and we all watch Christmas tv. Then we will have tea and head to Darren’s dad’s for cake and to play a board game πŸ™‚

If I’m in Glastonbury

Darrens mum lives in Glastonbury so we go down at Christmas when we can depending on when it falls and time off etc. If we are there I still wake up early but have to wait until everyone else wakes up then we will have a bucks fizz and take turns to choose a present from under the tree whoever’s present it is opens it up and we all ooo and ahhh over the gifts πŸ™‚ we then have another drink probably a snowball and watch some Christmas tv eat tonnes of chocolate and chill out. Then around 2:30-3 we have a huge Christmas dinner and pudding then watch another movie and have some tea and more drinks πŸ™‚

That’s it my Christmas days πŸ™‚ xx
