Today is my first day off and I am feeling so run down i feel that since October I have just been in a whirlwind of emotions and haven’t actually had any time to breathe!! So from December 1st to Today I took a photo of my outfit and looking back I have noticed that I am a creature of habit, I own lots of clothes but actually mainly end up wearing either pjs or the same kind of outfits, I’m drawn to brown and green at the moment-maybe i just want to dress like a tree?? Also I clearly find an item of clothing that I like then wear it to death haha!!! So here we go. Day 20 Today

My weasley dreams have come true! So as you may or may not be aware (if your not aware I can only assume your new to my blog in which case welcome) I am a HUGE harry potter fan and for the longest time I have wanted to buy the Weasley Christmas Jumper but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on one jumper SO I used a jumper I brought for 99p from the charity shop and some yellow Yarn and a thick yarn needle to create my own Weasley Jumper and I am so happy with how it turned out!! I am pairing it with my favourite skirt of the moment my brown F&F one a green beanie I brought from a charity shop and my DR marten boots for a full on weasley inspired outfit 🙂

All that remains to say is Merry Christmas Have a fabulous time and I will see you all in the New Year

Natalie Signing off until January 3rd.

Lots of Love

Blogmas Day 16: Last Minute gift Ideas

DON’T PANIC! There is still 9 days to get all of your Christmas shopping complete!! I said DON’t PANIC….OK you can panic slightly I know I am!!! So I thought that I would upload this earlier than my other blogmas posts to give you plenty of time to use these ideas if necessary!!

Idea 1- Vouchers: Yes I am that person that enjoys receiving vouchers!! there are so many stores, spa’s and experience days that do vouchers and its a really quick gift to get that is always well received in my experience!! Check out Red letter days for great experience day vouchers. Also don’t forget coffee shops and android play also have vouchers too!!

Idea 2-Home made vouchers…..very different to just vouchers these are essentially vouchers you make yourself that are tailor made to to person who is receiving them, let me elaborate. If you have a friend that has children you could make a voucher that entitles them to a free day or nights babysitting provided by yourself or say you and your friend always go for coffee you could create a voucher that says you will buy them a coffee and cake on your next coffee date. There are so many possibilities for this. Alternatively for your partner you can make a date jar where you write down a bunch of date night ideas, cinema, bowling, ice skating etc make enough to last through the year and then place them in a jar for them to choose one a month ( you could also add money to pay for one or two of the dates if your feeling extra generous)

Idea 3-Hampers. There are so many different hampers that you could make I have listed a few ideas below

Pamper Hamper ( I laughed for ages at pamper hamper when said aloud…i am very tired on the day i’m writing this ok?!) Anyways yes….think face masks, scented candles, body lotions, body scrub, mini nail polish, chocolate bar and hot chocolate mix-all these items can be brought relatively cheap in supermarkets or the pound shop.

Movie Buff Hamper- Their favourite film, popcorn, share bag of crisps, Top trumps trivia cards(available in smyths) scene it board game

Food&drinks hampers Just fill them with their favourite foods and drinks.

Baking hamper- Ingredients to make their favourite sweet treat, apron, oven gloves.

Idea 4-Bake their favourite sweet treat (cake or biscuits or cheesecake) or offer to cook them their favourite meal

Idea 4.5 Chore vouchers, offer to do the washing up for a month, or wash the car once a month, or do the gardening, hoover, do the washing, do the ironing, clean the bathroom.

That is all the ideas I have for you guys today I hope that you found them useful and that you manage to get all your shopping done in time!! x

Blogmas Day 12: Creative wrapping ideas

Hey guys so today I thought I’d show you three different ideas to wrap your gifts in a fun unique way 🙂 these are easy and super cheap to do 🙂

Idea One-you will need a toilet roll tube, string and either paint or coloured pens.

All you need to do to create this cute little cardboard tube is fold down the ends of the tube as pictured to create a little tube you could then paint this but I used Sharpies to write a little message 🙂 I then finished it off by adding some string to make a little bow.

Idea Two- You will need brown parcel paper ( I actually got this from one of my amazon parcels it’s part of the packing paper they use!) String sellotape and any extra trimmings you see fit I used a candy cane some patterned string and a handmade label. I wrapped the gift with the paper then double wrapped the string around it as I think it added an extra touch. I then used the extra bits to jazz up the paper. You could then again use coloured pens or paint and stampers to create a pattern on the paper 🙂

Idea ThreeThree-you will need a scarf. This one was 25p from a charity shop charity shops are great places to find scarves this can then become an extra gift! All I did was wrapped and knotted the scarf round the gift and voila easy as that!

Blogmas Day 11:Decorate the tree

For me when the tree and the decorations are up well then its officially Christmas! I decorated the tree on the 4th and thought I would share with you the final look and a close up of some of the decorations.

The completed tree SO pretty

Our Disneyland Chip N Dale Ornament

This was only 75p! I love how simple it is 🙂

Candy Canes are a must at this time of the year I wonder how long these will last on my tree!

Our newest addition we brought this beauty in Disneyland in November

Blogmas Day 1: Christmas Tag

Hello Happy December 1st 🙂 Did you all open an advent calendar today? I am already in full Christmas mode I had my Christmas playlist on in the car today I am looking forward to buying our Christmas tree and decorating the house 🙂

Blogmas Day one is the Christmas Tag so here goes 🙂

  1. Favourite Christmas Film? I have a fair few that I enjoy watching at this time of year but if i had to choose just one it would have to be ELF.
  2. Have you ever had a white Christmas? I don’t actually think that I have ever experienced a white Christmas! There have been a few years where there have been a few flakes of snow but never has it been a completely snowy Christmas, I may have a controversial opinion here but I think for me having snow on Christmas would disrupt my plans and that would make me very sad so I kinda don’t really want to have a snowy Christmas!
  3.  Where do you usually spend your holiday? Well we usually spend the holiday travelling around! My husbands family live in Hemel so we usually go to see them before Christmas, his mum&her husband live just outside of Glastonbury so we will travel down to see them after Christmas as we now have a fur baby to factor into travel plans and then Christmas day we visit my family and the hubby’s dad&his wife.
  4. What is your favourite Christmas song? Merry xmas everybody by Slade.
  5. Do you open any presents on Christmas eve? Santa hasn’t delivered them yet so how can i?
  6. Can you name all of Santa’s Reindeer? Honestly without google here are my answers: Dasher Dancer Prancer Vixen Donner Cupid Blitzen Comet: I googled and……I got them all  right just not in the right order WOOO!!
  7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to the most this year? I love all my traditions if i’m honest! I guess I am most excited to go pick out our real tree for this year 🙂
  8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake? Mine and hubby’s trees real my parents&Grandparents have a fake one
  9. What is your all time favourite holiday food/treat? Lebkuchen!! The Lebkuchen iced stars from ALDI are the best!
  10. Be honest-Do you prefer giving gifts or receiving gifts? Well everyone likes getting gifts right? But I love buying or making gifts for people putting time an effort into looking for the perfect present 🙂
  11. What is the best gift you ever received? This is a hard one I am always a very lucky girl at Christmas and I receive very different types of gifts so I would say the best gift is just being able to spend time with my loved ones 🙂
  12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season? I’m a home bird so I wouldn’t actually want to go anywhere other than families on Christmas day BUT I have always wanted to go to New York in the run up to Christmas to see all the lights and decorations and to go Christmas shopping!
  13. Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably? I Love wrapping presents! I buy all the extra garlands and bows and labels and spend a good few hours meticulously wrapping gifts!
  14. Most Memorable holiday moment? Totally cheesy and cringey BUT the most memorable and amazing was the first Christmas in our new house 🙂 I was so excited that we actually decorated the house in November haha! Buying our decorations and the tree and just making it look all Christmassy was very exciting!
  15. What made you realise the truth about Santa? What truth about Santa? I know there are rumours going around that he’s not real but who else gets all the presents?
  16. Do you make new years resolutions? If so do you stick to them? I used to make new years resolutions and break them all by January 2nd so last year I made Goals rather than resolutions and I made sure that my goals were things I actually wanted to achieve and knew that I could achieve instead of the usual….join a gym, loose weight, stop spending money etc.
  17. What makes the holidays special for you? Family&Friends.
  18. When do you start getting excited about Christmas? November 1st.
  19. You’ve been granted one Christmas wish what will it be? Kindness and understanding to spread across the world.
  20. Describe Christmas in one word. Magical
