I can’t believe April is already nearly over!! I apologise for the lack of posts lots of work&my illness have kind of taken their toll on me BUT never fear I will persevere 🙂 on Monday I’ll have an exciting post showing you where I have spent this bank holiday weekend I won’t spoil it but I am SUPER excited!!
So here are my April Favourites x
I’ve really got back into pin badges and brooches when I was 16 My backpack was covered in badges and patches!!! They just change up and outfit and add a little something extra 🙂 these three are my current Favourites x
My hair had been feeling pretty dry I’d seen ALOT of youtubers recommending this brand so when I saw it on offer in Tesco I thought why not give it a try! The shampoo is really lovely and thick it really feels like it’s getting all the grime and product out of your hair, the conditioner is a little watery but it smells beautiful and leaves my hair feeling super soft
This song 😍i live Stereophonics always have always will this sing is just amazing every time it comes on me and my hubby sing along!!
Again I’m very late to the party!!! But I started to watch how I met your mother and ended up watching the whole of series 1 in a day!!! Now I’ve avoided spoilers again so please PLEASE don’t ruin it for me!!! Xx
That’s it April all wrapped up! 🎁x

Hello lovely people 🌻🌞🌛
I must apologise for my lack of posts particularly outfit posts there are two reasons for this the first being my skin and by extension my confidence, my skin decided that even though I am 28 it would have a major breakout! I think because I’ve finally allowed myself to rest all the stress and tiredness has finally come out so yes I really didn’t feel like putting together cute outfits and photographing myself 😦 and secondly I’ve felt in a bit of a rut I love my thrifted series and love showing the outfits I can create with thrifted/charity shop items but felt like I was creating samey outfits so I’ve decided to concentrate my next few blog posts on creating 3 different outfits with 1 thrifted item 🙂
Today’s item is a striped shirt I brought from extra care for £2.50 its already been seen on my blog but I created 3 very different outfits with it today 🙂

So the rules of this blog award
Write a post to show your award
Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog
Give an explanation as to how your blog started
Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers
Nominate 15 bloggers
Ok so my blog started or rather the premise started after I set myself a challenge a few years back to give up clothes shopping for Lent! I would document the outfits I’d created from my vast and ever expanding wardrobe to showcase the outfits i could create from items I already owned! I kept this up but only created 3 blog posts which I then deleted and started this afresh wanting to show that you don’t have to spend lots of money or buy into the whole fast fashion idea to be creative in your outfits.
Be yourself and love what your doing. I started my blog thinking only my mum and close friends would watch it I never dreamed that I’d have 200 followers liking my blog!! I continue to expand but only into things that I like and feel confident in not to “fit in” and you shouldn’t either!
Secondly Be proud, confident and above all….polite!! The blogging community is a very friendly place we look out for each other and although I haven’t met any of you I feel that we have a great friendship we spur each other on sing each other’s praises and go through various experiences together!!
I nominate my whole followers list for this award as I love each and every one of your blog’s 🙂 xx
I can’t believe we are in April already!!! Anyone else feel like this years flying by?? Here are my favourites from March x
I’m reading this a paragraph at a time as its not really a sit and read in one go book! It depicts her life and quotes from interviews with her its fascinating to read 🙂 x
My lovely friend gifted me this MAC lipstick I’m a bit wary of red I don’t know whether it suits me or not but now I’ve Dyed my hair dark I’m thinking I can pull it off!! She also brought me these nail varnishes for my birthday they are really gorgeous pastel colours perfect for spring x
This floral necklace was in the next sale and I thought….I need that in my life!! It’s such a statement piece it changes up a simple outfit and I can’t stop wearing it!! Also I’ve been loving Peacock Ore and Quartz this month I’ve really got back into my crystal healing. X
Lastly I know again I’m late on the bandwagon!! I’ve just started orange is the new black on Netflix and it is hilarious I love the characters its such a well thought out show definitely check it out if you haven’t already!! X
